We've finished the last show of 2017 and I'm feeling incredibly grateful for all the success that Psychic Cabaret has enjoyed this year. It has been a true pleasure to have read the minds and fortunes of all who have come to the show. Hugo Lefevre and the entire staff of Eno Wine Bar always provide delicious food, wine and wonderful atmosphere. If you haven't been to Eno yet, I suggest you make that your top New Year's Resolution for 2018!

Michael Jons is a great entertainer, has very strong stage presence, is charming and funny, infuses great humor in his show, and offers a very hands-on and interactive audience-involved performance! My friend and I had a very engaging time, and we both participated in the show in the very intimate and cozy setting of the Eno Wine Bar, right in Georgetown. We were highly impressed and wowed by Michael's show and hands down recommend him for anyone looking for a relaxing, funny, and unique experience. Bring a date, a friend, or the whole family--the show is a treat for everyone of all ages. Highly recommended!

As strong skeptics, Michael succeeded in amazing us with his talents. The show was funny and captivating, but most of all it was impressive. Fall is an incredible time of year to be in Georgetown. The brick sidewalks, historic architecture, great shopping and food -- the city just feels like it was made for crisp fall days. And what better way to end the weekend in Georgetown than with a bottle of wine, good friends, and some great entertainment!
It doesn't take a crystal ball to see that people are having a great time at The Psychic Cabaret. Just check out our recent reviews.

Michael Jons is a completely amazing entertainer and mentalist/psychic! I took my brother and sister in law to the show right after they got of the plane from the U.K., and by the end of the show, their jet lag had completely disappeared! Michael engages the whole crowd and I highly recommend this to anyone who wants a good evening out! Would give 6 stars if I could!!

The comfortable and charming basement at Eno Wine Bar in G'town is the perfect venue for this show. Michael is a true showman, providing a fast-paced presentation which culminates in some jaw-dropping revelations about each other. He's either really psychic or extremely clever. Or both. However he does it, it's great entertainment and is a fun way to spend a couple hours with some vino (See Karim at the bar for a cheese & meat plate paired with a perfect glass of wine) and friends - we're still talking about how much fun we had.

A HUGE "Thank You!" to everyone who helped make our first year in DC such an awesome experience! The audiences in DC have been truly amazing.
Special thanks to Hugo Lefevre and the entire staff of Eno Wine Bar for taking such great care of everyone who comes to the show. They have provided an incredible place to perform.

At "The Psychic Cabaret" Michael Jons shows us how to read people, thoughts and fortunes. A few people have asked about the 100-year-old books that inspired the show. One of them is "Fortune Telling by Cards" written by Professor P.R.S. Foli, first published in 1915.
Sir Cyril Arthur Pearson, 1st Baronet, GBE (24 February 1866 – 9 December 1921) was a British newspaper magnate and publisher, most noted for founding the Daily Express. He was educated at the prestigious Winchester College in Hampshire. A philanthropist, in 1892 he established the charitable Fresh Air Fund, still in operation and now known as Pearson's Holiday Fund, to enable disadvantaged children to partake in outdoor activities. In 1898, he purchased the Morning Herald, and in 1900 merged it into his new creation, the halfpenny Daily Express. The Express was a departure from the papers of its time and created an immediate impact by carrying news instead of only advertisements on its front page. In 1898, Pearson founded The Royal Magazine, a monthly literary magazine which remained in publication until 1939.
During 1900s time period, Pearson was also active as a writer, and wrote a number of tourist guides to locations in Britain and Europe. Under the pseudonym of "Professor P R S Foli", he wrote Handwriting as an Index to Character in 1902, as well as works on fortune-telling and dream interpretation.

Psychic Cabaret Sold Out in Tawas

My family has been spending summers on Tawas Bay for generations so I was thrilled to be able to perform a benefit show in support of the Tawas Bay Players and the awesome work they do creating and promoting live theater for the community.
The show sold out a week in advance! The audience on Saturday night could not have been more fun. It was particularly fun for me to have so many family members and neighbors be able to see the show. Thanks to everybody who came to the show and helped make it such an awesome time.
If things work out, it would be great to do it again next year with an all-new stage show!

I'm super excited to announce that I will be doing a special performance of The Psychic Cabaret on Saturday, July 29th in Tawas, Michigan. I grew up spending my summers on Lake Huron and am really looking forward to working with the Tawas Bay Players to bring the show to the Tawas Bay Playhouse.
100% of the show proceeds go to The Tawas Bay Players to support their work creating and promoting quality theater in the community.

A Hollywood Feature Film about Psychic Micheal Jons?!

I always imagined that Matt Damon would play me in a feature film, but I think Rich Sommer from "MAD MEN" is a great choice too!
I can neither confirm nor deny that the new black comedy starring Ed Harris and Rich Sommer called, "A Crooked Somebody" is about a character based on ME, but take a look at the movie's plot description:
"Sommer will play master showman Michael Jons, a self-dubbed psychic medium and charismatic charlatan who is kidnapped by an emotionally unhinged man."
Awesome! They think I'm charismatic!
Although the script was written with the "charismatic psychic" main character named Micheal Jons, they changed the name in the final film to Michael Vaughn -- I guess they didn't want to imply that the caracter is REALLY me. This isn't a documentary. Besides, Michael Vaughn is only a pretend psychic.
All I can say is that it sounds like the movie is about an absolutely fascinating - and handsome - guy!
Cant' wait for the film's release!

Happy 6-month Anniversary!
It's hard to believe that it has already been 6 months since Michael Jons' Psychic Cabaret opened in Washington, DC last October. Time flies when you're having fun!
I feel incredibly lucky to have found such an awesome home for the show here in Washington. Eveybody who comes to the show comments on how wonderful the food, wine, atmosphere and staff is at Eno Wine Bar in Georgetown.
Washington audiences could not have been more welcoming. Every show has been as unique as the audience, but they have always made it a fun and delightful experience for all.
We have more shows scheduled over the next couple months but I am not planning to stop there! In fact, I am hoping that as word of the show continues to spread that we will be able to move to a weekly schedule.
THANK YOU to everyone who has come out and supported The Psychic Cabaret! I see some great things in our future!

This is an intimate unique show that was really fun. Michael connects to each individual in the small audience, shares his craft and most importantly wows the audience with his significant talents. We did not know what to expect from a show in a wine bar, but it was a perfect venue for a show that is just a little strange - in a very good way. I attended this on a Sunday afternoon with some friends and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for an event that will take you away from your current worries! This does that! The atmosphere was splendid! The venue, Eno, was welcoming and the staff at Eno were great hosts. Michael Jons Psychic Cabaret was a total delight! I'm not a skeptic, but not a believer either. I will say I was and am in awe of his performance. The inclusion of the audience was really fun too! If you have a chance to see him - do it!

Michael Jon's is amazing. The show is a lot of fun and everyone was having a great time. The Eno wine bar is intimate and comfortable. It's like being at someone's home for a personal show performed just for you and your friends. That is, if their home serves really great food and wine with a private waiter. Don't be afraid to participate as that is half the fun. I was with family but I could easily see this being a great date night or returning with a group of friends as it was really a good time. Great entertainment with great food and wine. What more could you asked for?
